Rich – Grace and I both grew up in New York, but never met until 2013 when we both lived in Georgia. We first connected online, but it soon became clear that this was something special for both of us. It was December and a particularly busy month, but we were enjoying our interactions so much that we committed to meeting in person. Our first date confirmed what we already suspected: we were going to be a big part of each other’s lives. We decided our second date would be at the botanical gardens as we both had a passion for gardening- and it would be on Christmas Eve! Grace turned out to be the best Christmas gift I ever received! Our relationship grew swiftly from there. I even remember saying, “Thank you God for answering my prayers!”
About 12 months later we considered joining forces in the business world. We were both licensed agents and had each been longing to be part of a real estate team. I wished I had a business partner from the very beginning. I admit we were a little hesitant at first. Being business partners as well as romantic partners might cause a strain on one partnership or the other. Or both! We’d heard horror stories about other couples that had tried similar things. But in one year, our story was one with a successful business partnership and an amazing marriage! We learned that we are stronger together, and that’s how the Best Team was formed.
We quickly learned each other’s strengths and we allowed each other to shine in their unique way. It didn’t take long before we were running like a well-oiled machine. The business we manage today is one I’m massively proud of and our success speaks for itself. I hope you give us the opportunity to navigate your real estate journey!
Grace – Real estate has always been a passion of mine, and my ultimate dream job. In the beginning, I was so excited to finally be in this profession that I couldn’t contain my enthusiasm, and I spoke to anyone and everyone- even knocked on some doors!
My first week as a realtor, while browsing around in a flower shop, I struck up a conversation with a woman who confided that she would love to own a house but felt there was no way that she would ever be able to do that. That struck a chord with me because I had remembered feeling the same way. I instinctively answered her, “Maybe I can make it happen.”
She became my first transaction. I took great detail to make sure that I did everything correctly in taking care of her needs, so much so that the seller’s agent had no idea that it was my first transaction until I confided that at the closing table. She was shocked, and said “This was your first transaction? I never would have known!” I never looked back, and I actually made Rookie of the Year my first year in real estate!
The other experience that struck me came a little bit later. I had two children and it was important to me that I get to spend time with them. One day we decided to go to the movies.
While in the theater, my phone silently alerted me of a call, and I discreetly slipped out of the auditorium. I had a brief chat with the client and was back to the film in the time it would take to refill your popcorn. It was wonderful! I could be with my kids and run my business
Today- years later- I am fully convinced that dreams do come true, and my partnership with Rich proves it every day! We look forward to helping you make your real estate dreams come true!
